I’m thinking about getting a new lens. Britney loaned this lens to me, so I just went walking around the neighborhood snapping whatever looked interesting to me. The lens requires manual focus and all manual settings. It’s somewhat difficult to use until you get the hang of it. I got it pretty quickly. I defintely will have to invest in this lens. During Saturday’s engagement session, the surf was going off. I’ve always wanted to do surfing shots, but have never taken the time out to try. I’ve really become out of touch with when the waves are good for photos because I just don’t seem to have the time anymore. But, Saturday was a good day.
I think I’m going to make a concerted effort to get out and do this more often. It was great just being out there and snapping a few pics.
