I updated the link to the speech he gave at Carnegie Mellon, which is basically the same speech, just longer and more profound than what he did on Oprah (which was a dumbed down version, for obvious reasons). Just wanted to let you know that "Harpo, Inc." has blocked Randy Pousch's touching speach on U-Tube where you refer to it in your opening page. It is no longer available for the public to see. If you have it transcribed, or at least quotes from Randy...that would be a wonderful alternative. What a wonderful man...I'm sorry I never knew him. HE TRULY SPOKE TO MY HEART OR HEARTS! AND I AM SO SADDENED TO LEARN OF HIS DEATH. I AM ALSO VERY ENCOURAGED IN THAT HE LIVES ON AND WILL REMAIN WITH US UNTIL THE END OF TIME. I THINK A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY ABOUT "TIME" AND MY OWN DEATH BECAUSE OF HIM--IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A MORBID THING. RANDY TAUGHT ME THAT. HE ALSO REMINDED ME TO STAY CONNECTED WITH MY CHILDHOOD DREAMS.
