I went for a walk around my neighborhood

I’m thinking about getting a new lens. Britney loaned this lens to me, so I just went walking around the neighborhood snapping whatever looked interesting to me. The lens requires manual focus and all manual settings. It’s somewhat difficult to use until you get the hang of it. I got it pretty quickly. I defintely will have to invest in this lens. Here are a few images from my walk-about…

Cheers,

Jerry

Cool shots, Jerry. I like the processing, too. I’ll have to get myself a tilt-shift one day. :)

    Hi Jerry,

Is that one of the Canon Tilt-shift lenses? The pictures look very much like large-format pictures. Very nice!

    Interesting neighbourhood.

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for the comment. Yes, that’s why I like that lens. It has a large format feel to it. The images are from the Canon 45mm TS lens on a 5D.

Well, I just picked up the 24mm TS-L 3.5L and it is a wonderful lens. Now that I have it I want that 45mm. The 45mm has such a dramatic look when you tilt it and it is a very pleasing crop.

Michael, I got the 45mm lens first because I knew I would use it alot. I’ll eventually get the 24mm, but I wanted to wait on that one. Have fun though. I think the 24 would be great fun at a reception.
